Your decal is only as strong as the surface under it. Wax, road grime and the oil from your fingers are invisible, but they stop the adhesive from gripping. That's why every order comes with an alcohol wipe.
Use the included wipe to clean an area a little bigger than the decal. Firm strokes, in one direction.
Give it about a minute to evaporate. Don't touch the cleaned spot, and don't dry it with a rag or towel.
Peel the backing, line the decal up, then press it down from the centre outwards with a squeegee or card to push out any air.
Hold off washing or pressure cleaning for 48 hours while the adhesive cures.
Pro tips:
Apply in the shade on a mild day. Very hot or cold surfaces make the adhesive harder to work with.
Skip window cleaner, soap or polish before applying. They leave a film behind that blocks the glue, which is exactly what the alcohol wipe removes.
